Canadian Youth Against Impaired Driving (CYAID) was formed in 1990 as an effort to unite impaired driving related youth initiatives across Canada. National Students against Impaired and Distracted Driving (NSAIDD)
This national day of action was started in 1999 by a group of high school students who believed they have had power to stop impaired driving. Since then, this movement has spread across the country, with now with more than 500,000 students taking part on the day. NSAIDD Day is held annually in October.
The Student Life Education Company
The Student Life Education Company is a registered charity and not-for-profit organization. Made up of three divisions, post secondary division is BACCHUS Canada, high school division is Student Life NOW!, and The Canadian Centre for Social Norms Research. Three divisions with one mission, The Student Life Education Company's is the leader in the promotion of healthy decisions on the use or non-use of alcohol and other health issues.
